All original and in really super condition, this antique Silver locket and matching collarette dates to the 1880's when pieces such as this were of the highest fashion. Nicely substantial and crafted in Silver (likely in one of the workshops in the famous Birmingham Jewellery Quarter), the whole is a symphony of harmonious ornamentation; the buckle design symbolising fidelity. A very striking pairing, the decorative collar itself measures 18 inches and can also be worn alone or with other pendants. Inside are the two original images. The locket itself two inches lengthwise.
